Beaver Creek Dam Improvements

Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority (RWSA) has not released the Zoom virtual meeting information yet.  Click here and look under EVENTS in the left side to check their website for an update.  The zoom information will also be posted here once it’s available.

A virtual meeting to discuss the Beaver Creek Watershed Structure No. 1 .  The Beaver Creek reservoir and dam is located on Browns Gap Turnpike (Va Route 680).   The proposed project involves rehabilitation of the dam to meet state and federal requirements for high hazard dams.  The multi-purpose Beaver Creek Reservoir serves as the sole municipal water supply for the Crozet area.

The project team will present the overall concept of the project followed by time for public comment, questions,  and concerns.  Following the meeting the presentation will be posted on the RWSA website and public comment and questions received until December 18, 2020.
