Ann Mallek, our supervisor, announced there are vacancies on the two Albemarle County boards to represent White Hall district.
Social Services Board: Two vacancies, One for Rio District and one for White Hall District. This is an advisory board that monitors the formulation and implementation of social welfare programs in the county and advises the director on program and policy matters. Crozet Community Advisory Council: Three vacancies. The Crozet Community Advisory Council will provide assistance, feedback and input to County staff and the Board of Supervisors on community and county efforts related to implementation of the Master Plan, in accordance with established county procedures. The CCAC meets once a month, on the third Thursday, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
CCA Note: The more Crozet residents are involved and participating in these boards and commissions the more our voice will be heard and our needs taken into account.
