Treasurer’s Report (Dues are still just $10 for 2025!)
Albemarle County Police Department (ACPD) may visit and give an update. (Evening Patrol Division).
Update and News from Ann Mallek, our county supervisor.
Updates and Discussion: The “Montclair” stream, OakBluff/Eastern Avenue, and AC44 (Eric Schmitz, Bill O’Malley, & Tom Loach).
Old Business:
- Crozet Independence Day Celebration,
- Saturday, July 5, 2025 is the next Crozet Independence Day Celebration at King Family Vineyard.

- The King Family Vineyards SUP is progressing. The Board of Supervisor’s hearing is on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. (The Planning Commission unanimously approved it earlier.)
- Hanging Baskets along Crozet Avenue in downtown Crozet. Muff Biber, Tim Tolson, and Chelsea Powers (president of Crozet Board of Trade) are working on the details of draft contract from the Albemarle County Facilities and Environmental Services department. The aim is to have flower baskets as soon as possible.
- A reminder that the Crozet Park Board is prohibiting parking on the blacktop near the pickleball courts during daylight hours (aka basketball courts). The only exception will be for Park sponsored events, e.g., Arts & Crafts Festival, Gator Swim Meets, etc., when the no parking signs will be covered. Please feel free to use the fifteen parking spaces located along the west side of the pool fence.
New Business
- Resolutions of the CCA, as required by its bylaws (Article VII), require presentation at a second regular CCA meeting for discussion and vote, and if accepted, will be adopted.
- Resolutions about the “Montclair” stream, OakBluff/Eastern Avenue, and AC44.
- Should we have a meeting on July 10 to vote again, rather than wait until September 11?

Crozet Arts and Craft Festival, Saturday & Sunday May 10 and 11, 2025 from 10AM to 5:30PM on Saturday and 5PM on Sunday at the Claudius Crozet Park. It’s the 45th Anniversary!

- The Crozet Community Advisory Committee meets next Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00 PM at the Crozet Library. (It meets on the second Wednesday of each month, which this month happens to be AFTER the CCA meeting, which meets the second Thursday of odd-numbered months.)
- Three-Notched Trail (3NT) Master Plan Kickoff and Community Open House is May 15, 2025 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Crozet Elementary Cafeteria (1407 Crozet Avenue, Crozet, VA 22932)

Crozet Volunteer Fire Department 5K race is May 31st. It includes a Kids Fun Run and a pancake breakfast afterwards! First Responders can get 50% off the registration fee!
