The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposes to modify the remedy selected for the Greenwood Chemical Superfund site in Greenwood, VA. The 30 day public comment period closes next Thursday, July 18, 2013. The EPA is also conducting a five year review and inspection of the site. This five year review is a seprate process and not connected to the proposed changes. The five year review report will be finalized and made available online at epa.gov/5yr in September 2013.
